Can you report a yahoo user for inappropriate content in a fantasy football league? Someone has been making real nasty comments in our league, now that it's over, can I report him somehow? Thanks.

Its just smack talk. Every league has them . Unless it was a racial comment or something threatening, i would let it go. I dont take it personally.

But unless you know the person and it was an personnal attack towards you, if not this way then let it go. People talk trash over the computer all the time. It's easy to talk trash and act hard with a keyboard.

You should report it if you know someone personally and feel threaten. If you don't know them, the season is over. Just don't play with them again.

Otherwise it just weak of someone to go that way.

What happened with our fantasy football draft?

I, along with 11 other friends were scheduled to have an online fantasy football draft last night at 8:30PM CDT. Yahoo obviously had some server or other technical difficulties just prior to our draft. By 8:15 everything looked OK and it looked as though our draft would take place at 8:30 as scheduled. Our draft came and went, it's now 14 hours later and no has drafted, no one has an auto drafted team, nothing! No word from Yahoo, we are all just hanging. We all pitched in $$$ for this year and were looking very forward to playing. What happened? Has this happened to anyone else? Are we going to eventually end up with an auto-drafted team?

did your commisioner change the settings to ready? if not he/she needs to do that or the draft wont take place.

Go into Yahoo help and contact them maybe they can change the league setting so that you all can do a live draft another time. Its worth a shot. Hopefully the technical problems do not mess up your fantasy football year.

One other idea I have, is to start a completely new league and notify all of your people to get into it and then you can have a live draft guaranteed, if you do it this way, then you wont have to worry about the outcome of your first (technical difficulty) league.

I am having trouble transitioning from fantasy basketball to football. I don't understand the game of football very well, much less fantasy football. I drafted my team according to the Yahoo rankings so I didn't think it could be that bad of a team. But I am getting beat badly in every matchup and am ranked last in my league. I notice that some of my players are ranked high but aren't getting playing time. I would like to drop them but am afraid they will start producing as we get further into the season. Everyone else in my league is picking up a ton of free agents but I have no clue as to how to make good decisions with free agents. Any advice for a newbie to fantasy football?

What I do and I am pretty good is always look at the free agents. Try to keep track of witch ones are having killer games. Pick them up and drop your bad players. Also watch football when you can and watch ESPN news to get stats.
