How can so many people watch football?

I don't understand when you watch it it's like your watching something that lasts forever. For example when a play starts in football on average one play last 5 seconds and then stops for 30 seconds. How can you watch that? it would get so boring watching that for four hours. They should really speed the game up. The only game that is excting is the superbowl.

Actually.... watching baseball is like watching something that lasts forever.
I like it because you don't have to sit and hang on to everything like a movie. I can get up and do things, come back when I'm ready and jump right back in. And I disagree about the Super Bowl part. I'm a Stiller Fan, but that game was really boring.
And they hardly ever touch the ball with their feet, either...

it may be that way, but people do like watching it, because it could have some amazing plays! That and that you're supporting ur own team, so that's good!
there is lots of reasons like you can chill with your friends, or just root for your team,or just enjoy peole make good plays
Australian Football is the best to watch,We don't wear that stupid,thick uniforms,they go out to play with shorts and there clubs emblem..
