What mask should I use for high school football?

Now when you are telling me how many bars I should have, do not include the one on the top of the helmet. I am a pretty bulky guy and I start freshman football spring training on May 1st and I do not know what mask would be good to play in: I want to try out for Defensive Tackle, Punt Returner, Quarter Back, and Tight End if I don't get QB.

QB: anything with alot of vision area so you can see all of the receivers.

TE: anything will do except for the long lineman facemasks. you need to be able to make athletic moves to catch the ball.

DT: COVERAGE! it can get pretty dirty down in the trenches

PR: something small and light. you need to be able to see everything and have good peripheral vision.

if you worry too much abt what you want to play, you wont wont get better at what you need to play. if the coach thinks you are good at one position, he's probably right.

Wow, your world is apparently wide open, huh? It doesn't sound likely that you'll be a punt returner, based on the other positions you want to try out for. The facemasks for Tight Ends and defensive linemen are pretty similar, so you'll need to find out if they want you as a QB first, and then you'll know which helmet to choose.
A Defensive Tackle and a Quarterback? There is something wrong with this question. DT's have to be giants and qbs are usually just buff tall guys.
High School Freshman Football...??? I really wouldn't worry about what type facemask to use. Your coach will give the proper one for the position you'll play... just concentrate on making the team...
